Job Cost Data Entry Screens

JOB COST DATA ENTRY MENU
By selecting "Job Cost" from the drop-down menu, several options are made available.

JOB COST MASTER EDITOR BUDGET
After choosing a specific Cost Code, the Budget tab allows you to enter your budget throug individual cost codes. You may also list the estimator who originated the budget.

JOB COST MASTER EDITOR SUB-CONTRACT/P.O.
With the Vendor view selected, the Sub-contracts/P.O. tab is displayed. While on this tab, you can retrieve everyone who is associated with this job. The contract or purchase order will appear to the left, complete with description.

JOB COST MASTER EDITOR GENERAL
This screen will serve a dual purpose. It can take you to the Client information by viewing with the "Client" option high-lighted or you can high-light the "Vendor" option and it will show all your Vendor information. You also have the option of viewing all jobs, including those already archived, or just the active and complete jobs. The "General" tab gives a multitude of information regarding your job. You can view job address, expanded job description, inspections, architect, supervisor, manager, and print dates. You can also track the percentage complete of your job.

JOB COST MASTER EDITOR STATUS
The "Status" tab, when set on the "Client" status, gives you start and complete dates, both estimated and actual. With this screen, you can also track contract amount, change orders, amount billed, amount paid, and balances to be billed and paid.

JOB COST MASTER EDITOR BURDEN PERCENTAGE
The Burden Percent tab allows you to factor in a percentage to be added to your job costs, reflecting overhead, overtime pay, expendibles, tools, etc.

JOB COST DESCRIPTION EDITOR
This is where you will decide how to set up your company to reflect the type of business you operate. The business you will see demonstrated was set up for use by a General Contractor.

NEW JOB COST RECORD
With the New Job Cost Record Setup screen, you will add all the numerical job records (project, job name, cost code, and task) that will be relevant to your job.

JOB COST SUMMARY INQUIRY
Inquiry by job, showing estiamte in relation to actual costs by percent.

JOB COST INQUIRY A/P
Inquiry by job. When selecting the A/P tab, you will be able to view all A/P in detail relating to that job.

JOB COST INQUIRY A/R
Inquiry by job. When selecting the A/R tab, you will be able to view all A/R in detail relating to that job.

JOB COST RECAP VENDOR
Here you can view an instant recap of your Total Vendor contract, amount paid on contract, what has been invoiced and not paid, and the balance due on the contract.

JOB COST RECAP CLIENT
Here you can view an instant recap of your Total Client contract, amount paid on contract, what has been invoiced and not paid, and the balance due on the contract.
